2002 results

Season Summary:

Played 16, Won 8, Lost 4,  Drawn 4

Administrative problems led to the cancellation of a number
of matches in 2002. But when we did take the field we were
frequently successful.

Highlights were, perhaps, a strong showing on tour (with John
Murphy’s 72 not out at Lindow winning the performance of the
season award), last ball victory at St.John’s Cambridge, a tight
win at Merrow bowling second, and a successful chase against
the Hurlingham Club after an excellent display in the field.

Highest score: 114*, Simon Cleobury v. Jesus College, Cambridge
Best bowling: 7-73, David Graham v. Queens’ College, Cambridge
